Over the river and through the woods

to Grandmother's house for snow!

Until a few days before Christmas, I was not a big fan of the hills of Pittsburgh.  I feel sick when my husband takes me cruising up and down the beautiful old neighborhoods, around every hairpin turn my stomach flops.
But let me tell you about these hills when they are snow covered...AWESOME!!  (at least for sledding, thank God the roads were clear!)

Reading Olivia's Night Before Christmas story, and getting things ready for Santa and Rudolph.

Merry Christmas!  Santa found us at Gamma and Grandfather's!

Take the presents and run...now over the Ohio River and through the cornfields to Grandma's house we go!

We had a full Cheney house for less than 24 hours, the precious cousin time was spent very wisely...watching, quoting, and singing along to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Trying to recover from the flu that made it's way around...moving the bed into the living room, watching movies, and eating lots of popsicles definitely helps!

And then we're up and twirling with princess Mickey in no time!

We had a great visit with both grandparents, thanks for all the merry!  We love you and miss everyone already!
