Another new family member

In all this excitement about new babies, we can't leave out another new family member! Mo, the black one, is my sister's kitty, and her little buddy is Omar. Aren't they precious?!?!
(I'm struggling a little, here, Dawn. I don't do a lot of animal blogging. At least not until I see that ferret documentary.)

Bundle of...

Elizabeth Joy!!!!

Last Thursday, November 11, at 4:05PM, the Austin family welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world! We pretty much nixed the name 'Minnie', her big sister's choice, when she tipped the scales at 9 pounds, 10 ounces, and 22 inches long! Not much mini going on here!

Big sister Maggie, very happy to finally get to meet Libby. Because of all the flu restrictions, Maggie didn't get to come see her Mommy and sister in the hospital. It was pretty tough for both of us, but thankfully, Grandma and GB were here to take extra special care of her!

Too bad Halloween's over

Hannibal Lecter

Too bad Maggie's Halloween party at school isn't tomorrow. On Tuesday she bit a little boy in her class because he snatched an airplane from her. She didn't bite him on the arm. She bit him on his cheek. If this would have happened last week, I would have ditched the sweet princess costume and wheeled her in on a dolley.

October's over....

Daddy and Maggie were enjoying lunch while rooting on the Steelers last weekend.

Touchdown Steelers!!!!
All ready for her Halloween party at preschool. Sleeping Beauty was wide-awake and ready to party!!

All ready for trick-or-treat- Maggie, and two of her friends (all born within a week of each other!) Emily is the monkey, she's our neighbor's granddaughter, and Emma is the lady bug, a new friend that Maggie and Daddy met at the neighborhood playground. Next time you talk to Rob, ask him when the next playdate is.

This was our attempt to compete with Will's pumpkins. You can't tell from this picture, but Troy Polamolu has some long black hair flowing in the back of his melon. I mean gourd.
Stay tuned for some short video footage of some of our Halloween fun, including pumpkin rolls, Halloween parading, and preschool partying.
