More Hot Fun in the Summertime

Chompin on hamburgers and fresh corn on the cob from some farm boy at NCState...delicious!

Even if it's too hot for a full twirly dress, we still have to have on a tutu.

Good times at our neighborhood pool.

Synchronized swimming, individual competition.

76 Shoe horns in the big parade. (Daddy got some new sneaks for his b-day, and left one of the inserts on the floor for Maggie to discover. When she asked what it was, he said it was a shoe-horn. Obviously, she had to pick it up and play it!)

Father's Day Fun

Just a little bit of back yard sprinkler fun on Father's Day.

Homage to Holli

One of our new favorite pass times is not only twirling in twirly dresses, but also, twirling a 'baton'. (One of my best friends from LSH was a twirler- love you, Holli!!!) So sometimes, we take turns doing baton shows in the front yard. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures of mommy (that I know of- check the neighbor's youtubes). I get all of my moves from what I remember seeing Holli do, and then Maggie goes out and does a round. We haven't been able to get Daddy to perform, yet. Holli, we might need you to come show us some new moves!!

Daddy's Birthday

It might have been Daddy's birthday, but of course, all of the pictures are of Maggie! Back a few weeks, we celebrated Rob's #36, and Father's Day all in the same weekend=lots of fun! We started by making him lawn mower cupcakes, and of course we made him a card that matched!!

Big Sister Practice

There is a lot of responsibility when it comes to being a big sister. Maggie only has a few months left to work on some of these big sister qualities- she has a lot of things to teach her little sister.
(ultrasound on Monday morning confirmed that we continue to do what we do best- make adorable little girls!)
1. Funny is good- funny looking is even better, especially to a little sister!

2. Sisters have to make room in the bed. (Daddy knows he's really out numbered, now- and I think he even forgot to include the cat!)
3. Big sisters have to be very sweet and gentle.
We got to meet Eoin Holt, fresh off his first week on the planet. Rob's cousin, Kristen, and her husband, Derek, are the proud parents of this beautiful baby boy! Everyone was doing great, and Eoin is such a pleasant baby! He was so sweet and wide-eyed, we couldn't get enough of him!
